Transportation Insight Heads to Parcel Forum

September 10, 2021

It's been a while since we saw each other in person so we are particularly excited that Transportation Insight is heading to Parcel Forum next week. The premier parcel conference is being held in Washington DC this year and will offer a variety of workshops and sessions to expand participants’ knowledge and plenty of opportunities to network.

A Few Reasons to Join Us at Parcel Forum

Our Parcel Strategy Takes a Holistic Approach

It is our goal to give shippers a competitive edge with their parcel strategy from Parcel Assessment and Design to Contract Negotiation to Audit to Analytics.  Drop by our booth, located at #217, to learn more about our services and see a demo of our exciting new business intelligence tools.  We’ll have a number of folks on hand to answer any questions.

New to Parcel Forum?  Come have lunch with us!

Join us for the First-Term Platinum lunch on Tuesday, September 14th. This is a special luncheon for all of you “first-term” (first-timers) and workshop attendees where Parcel Forum experts will be able to guide you on how to get the most out of PARCEL Forum. Our own John Haber, President of the Parcel Business Unit will provide opening remarks.

Improve your e-Commerce Operations Without Carrier Dependency

On Wednesday, September 15th, John Haber, Robyn Meyer, VP of Parcel Solutions, and Chad Vogel, Vice President of Transportation and Supply Chain for Fanatics, will present a case study: How Fanatics Protects eCommerce Profits by Improving Performance without Carrier Dependency.

Life is only getting more difficult for eCommerce shippers. Carrier data is getting harder to access, and by itself, the information you can collect from transportation providers has limited value. While the pandemic propelled digital sales to exponential growth, many online retailers saw profit consumed quickly by rising transportation costs in the rush to serve new customer markets with more products through new delivery channels. Parcel shippers can increase their margins with the right mix of technology and analysis. Using internal shipping data and understanding its role in determining order fulfillment practices are critical to developing more profitable fulfillment operations.

Learn How to Best Use Your Transportation Consultants

On Thursday, September 16, our Vice President of Parcel Operations, Todd Benge will participate on a panel discussion on how to get the most out of our transportation consultants.

With some of the national carriers banning the use of transportation consultants to negotiate contracts on the shipper’s behalf, how can you use these experts to your advantage? This session, requested by the PARCEL Forum Advisors, allows an open discussion on how best to use consultants for the greatest gain.

Learn more about this session.

Historically, Parcel Forum has been a great conference to connect with experts in the industry, but after the past 18 months we think it is going to be even more beneficial.

We look forward to seeing you there!
