March 20, 2020

At SME, our robust approach to corporate responsibility is a large part of what makes us successful in serving our clients, and community, at the highest level. A key tenet of our company values is to engage with our community, and we make sure that as a company we give our time, talents and treasures while also supporting the philanthropic passions of our employees.  We are pleased to share that our Vice President of Analytical Solutions, Melissa Runge, has taken her passion for giving back and has accepted two board appointments.

Locally, she will serve Metropolitan Counseling Services which provides a sustainable source of quality mental health services for the greater Atlanta community.  In this time of current crisis, it is more critical than ever that those with pre-existing mental health conditions have access to ongoing treatment plans.

Nationally she will serve on the board of Girl Talk Inc.  As an executive in the male dominated supply chain industry, and the mother of a young daughter, Melissa believes wholeheartedly in Girl Talk’s mission – envisioning a world where all girls live confidently, lead fearlessly and support one another through a comprehensive peer-to-peer mentoring program.

We are proud of Melissa for sharing her time and talents and know she will add great value to these very worthwhile organizations.  Kudos Melissa!
